Sadly, workplace accidents resulting from poor Lock-Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures tend to be serious or fatal – amputation, electrocution and burns are some of the most common injuries. Next World’s LOTO training course is designed to provide trainees with a practical understanding of the crucial steps involved in maintaining safety during LOTO procedures. Trainees will explore multiple in-depth LOTO procedures, including proper equipment shutdown, lockout device placement, and energy control verification. Additionally, this training will equip trainees with the knowledge necessary to apply LOTO practices safely and effectively across a wide range of equipment types and energy sources.

The central focus of this course is to teach employees how to safety and correctly lock-out tag out plant and equipment.
Understand the fundamental steps of a lock-out tago ut (LOTO) procedure.
Demonstrate the ability to apply LOTO devices to isolate energy sources effectively.
Identify and gather information about hazardous energies present in a machine and how to remove or isolate them.
Perform maintenance tasks safely and correctly, such as checking oil levels, inspecting filters, and removing debris.
